Our Head Chef Darren Beevers and his team are busy at the stoves creating delicious dishes using the great local produce that Darren sources. His menus include Ala Carte, Tasting Menu, a lighter lunch menu and his delicious Afternoon Teas. He can also adapt menus to suit your budget for a wide variety of occasions – from canapés for a reception to a gourmet extravaganza in our delightful private Garden Room (seats up to 25). The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Closed all day Sunday and Monday.

Darren previously gained extensive Michelin experience at a number of restaurants including Chez Bruce, The Capital, Le Poussin at Whitley Ridge, Pollen Street Social and his most recent position as Head Chef at one-Michelin starred Club Gascon in the heart of London. Darren grew up in Hampshire just across the Solent from the Isle of Wight and is very excited to be returning to the area and cooking with the excellent local produce on his doorstep.
This is your opportunity to take part in the Chefs Experience in our Garden Room where you will be served Darren’s Tasting Menu – the meal will be brought to your table by the chefs who will guide you through the tastes and textures of the dishes. An ideal evening for a foodie get-together, the room can be booked by a group of friends or family, or individual tables can be booked and will share the room (a minimum of four people on any evening will need to be booked).
